| dc.description | Este artículo examina diferentes perspectivas de análisis respecto del proceso terapéutico de casos de violencia y abuso intrafamiliar. Se argumenta que, si bien la perspectiva sistémica permite analizar la violencia como un proceso interaccional, existen dimensiones de poder y de distribución de roles, asignados por la cultura, que influyen en los patrones interaccionales, existiendo discriminación y desigualdad. En este sentido, la sola lectura sistémica no basta. Se llama la atención sobre esta problemática para repensar las técnicas terapéuticas, de manera que permitan comprender mejor las motivaciones de los consultantes y ayudar a los terapeutas a ser mejores facilitadores del cambio. | es-ES |
| dc.description | This article reviews different perspective of analysis that could be applied to the therapeutical process concerning family violence and abuse. It is argued that, although the systemic perspective allows us to analyze violence as an interactional process, there are dimension of power and role assignments, culturally bound, that influence the interactional patterns, leading to discrimination and inequality. The systemic perspective is, then, insufficient to understand this kind of problems. Attention on these issues is drawn in order to rethink the therapeutical techniques that may lead to a better understanding of patients’ motivations and to help therapists to become better facilitators of change. | en-US |
