dc.description	El objetivo del siguiente estudio fue analizar el conocimiento político de los distintos estratos sociales de diferentes nivel educacional en función del modelo de "mapas políticos". A través del método de clasificación jerárquica se pudo distinguir -en el ámbito de la apreciación subjetiva- similitudes entre los partidos y políticos chilenos. Estas fueron traducidas a estructuras geométricas mediante "Nonmetric Multidimensional Scaling" (NMDS: Escala Multidimensional No Métrica). La comparación entre grupos de diferente nivel educacional mostró que las personas con menor nivel educacional evidencian problemas en la clasificación política, en particular en lo que se refiere a la determinación de la estructuración interna de los grandes bloques políticos. Sobre esta base se discuten las repercusiones que una diferenciación futura del sistema político chileno pudiera tener sobre las estructuras del conocimientos en los estratos sociales de bajo nivel educacional.	es-ES
dc.description	The goal of this study was to examine the political knowledge of people belonging to different social strata. The “political maps” model was used. With the method of hierarchical classification, subjective similarities between Chilean parties and politicians can be revealed, which can then be translated into geometric structures by mean of Nonmetric Multidimensional Scaling (NMDS). Comparisons made between different groups with different educational levels indicated that people with a low educational level have marked problems when it comes to classifying the substructures of the large political blocks. In this context, the possible implication of a future differentiation of the political system on the knowledge structure of social strata having a low level of education is discussed.	en-US
