| dc.description | Se reporta el proceso de replicación del Modelo de Estructura de Inteligencia de Berlín en una muestra de 470 estudiantes universitarios chilenos. El modelo enfatiza una clasificación bimodal de las habilidades en las dimensiones de operaciones y contenidos. La dimensión de operaciones distingue cuatro habilidades (Rapidez de Procesamiento, Capacidad e Procesamiento, Memoria y Creatividad) y la de contenidos, tres (Verbal, Figural y Numérico). Para efectos de la replicación se adoptó al castellano uno de los instrumentos de evaluación del modelo, y se sometió a prueba de análisis estructurales (análisis factorial y de escalamiento multidimensional). Los resultados permiten concluir que el modelo es replicable en la muestra de estudiantes chilenos. | es-ES |
| dc.description | The replication of the Berlin Model of Intelligence Structure in 470 Chilean university students is reported. This model classifies abilities along two dimensions, one referring to operations and the other to contents. The operational facet distinguishes four abilities (Processing Speed, Reasoning Capacity, Memory, and Creativity), and the content facet, three (Verbal, Numerical, and Figural). For the purpose of replication, one of the tests for the evaluation of the model was translated into Spanish, including some adaptations for the new cultural context. Structural analyses (factor analysis and multidimensional scaling) was used to analyze the data. According to the results, it is concluded that the model was successfully replicated on the sample. | en-US |
