dc.descriptionA partir de un enfoque cognitivo-evolutivo, se abordó la construcción de representaciones sociales acerca de la pobreza y desigualdad social en una muestra de 240 estudiantes de ambos sexos, con edades entre seis años 11 meses a 18 años 11 meses, residentes en cuidades con funcionamiento financiero limitado de la IX Región, Chile. Para acceder a las representaciones sociales de los sujetos, se utilizó una entrevista clínica piagetiana que indagaba acerca de la existencia de grupos socioeconómicos diversos y las características de cada uno, el proceso de movilidad social y las soluciones a la pobreza. Los resultados indicaron la presencia de cuatro niveles de desarrollo de las representaciones elaboradas por los sujetos, observándose diferencias en el ritmo evolutivo relacionadas con el estrato socioecomómico de pertenencia. En la discusión, se analiza la interacción entre el desarrllo de capacidades cognitivas y la influencia de ideas culturales dominantes propias de cada estrato económico en la construcción de representaciones sociales en la infancia y adolescencia.es-ES
dc.descriptionUsing a model cognitive-evolutive, this work study the constructions of social representations about the poverty and social inequality in 240 students’ of both sexes and with ages between 6 yrs. 11 months to 18 yrs. 11 months, residing in cities with operation limited financier from the IX Region, Chile. A clinical interview clinical Piagetian was use which investigated the social representation of diverse social economic groups and the characteristics of each one, the social mobility process and the solutions to poverty. Results indicated the existence of four levels of development of the representations elaborated by the subjects, observing differences in the evolutive rhythm related to the socioeconomic status of each subject. In the discussion, it is analyzed the interaction between the development of cognitives capacities and the influence of cultural dominant ideas belonging to each economic status in the construction of social representations during infancy and adolescence.en-US
