dc.descriptionEl tema del maltrato infantil, por su naturaleza, enfrenta a los profesionales a múltiples dilemas éticos. En el presente artículo se analiza la opción que toma el psicólogo frente a casos de maltrato infantil, y del dilema étnico confidencialidad versus denumcia, en casos con implicancias legales. Se analiza la opinión de treinta psicólogos entrevistados en la cuidad de Temuco respecto de los aspectos que influencian su decisión. Se discuten los resultados obtenidos, contrastándolos con antecedentes teóricos y empíricos en este campo. Finalmente se presentan algunos criterios que deberían estar presentes en una decisión fundamentada.es-ES
dc.descriptionThe child abuse topic, by its nature, faces professionals with multiple ethical dilemmas. In this paper, the ethical dilemma analysed is the actions taken by psychologists in relation to the report of child abuse cases to the legal system. Opinions of thirty psychologists from Temuco are considered with regards to the aspects influencing their decisions. Results are contrasted with theoretical and empirical data. Finally, some criteria are presented, that should be present in a fundament decision.en-US
