dc.descriptionLa Pauta de Observación de Prácticas Docentes evalúa el ambiente educativo en salas de primer y segundo año básico. Su versión original, de 46 itemes, aplicada a una muestra de 60 profesores, fue sometida a análisis estadísticos para estudiar y mejorar sus características psicométricas. Como resultado, la pauta queda compuesta por 31 itemes de observación, entregando un puntaje global y para tres áreas del desempeño docente. Tiene adecuada consistencia interna y muestra asociación significativa con los aprendizajes de los alumnos a fines del años escolar, no así con su adaptación escolar. Los resultados sugieren que el instrumento puede ser útil para la supervisión técnico-pedagógica en esos cursos y/o para fines de investigación.es-ES
dc.description The Teaching Practices Observation Instrument was designed to assess educational environment for first and second grade elementary school classrooms. Its original version consisted of 46 items; it was applied to a sample of 60 teachers in order to improve its psychometric characteristics through statistical analysis. As a result, the instrument was reduced to 31 observation items giving both a global score and separate scores for three areas of teaching practices. It has adequate internal consistency and shows significant association with pupil’s learning achievement at the end of the school year, but not with their school adjustment. Results suggest that this instrument may be useful for technical-pedagogical supervision tasks and/or for research purposes. en-US
