| dc.description | Este articulo' discute la indicación del grupo de encuentro como una modalidad de intervención psicológica para el tratamiento de mujeres maltratadas en el area de la Salud Pública. Describe brevemente un estudio de la aplicación del grupo de encuentro en el Programa de Maltrato a Mujeres y Niños, desarrollado por el Consultorio Extemo de la Escuela de Psicología de Ia Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Se utilizó una metodología fenomenológica para el análisis de las sesiones grabadas en video. Los resultados mostraron que el contenido emergente en las sesiones se refirio. basicamente. a los temas relaeionados con el maItrato a la mujer y a las estrategias necesarias para superar esta situación, comprobandose la hipótesis de la indicación del grupo de encuentro en el tratamiento de la violencia intrafamiliar. | es-ES |
| dc.description | This article discusses the encounter group as a psychological intervention for battered women treatment in the public health area. It shortly describes a research and its application in the Prevention of Domestic Violence Program maintained by the Consultorio Externo de la Escuela de Psicología of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. It used a phenomenological method to analyse the videotaped sessions. The results shows that the emergent content of the sessions refered basically to the subjects related to domestic violence towards women and the ways to cope with these situations, which confirms the hypothesis of encounter group indication for treatment in public health with battered women. | en-US |
