| dc.description | Este estudio comparó la percepción de apoyo social de dos grupos de adolescentes varones entre 14 y 18 años de la ciudad de Linares (Chile): 53 infractores de ley y 53 no infractores, los cuales fueron pareados en diversas variables sociodemográficas para hacerlos equivalentes. El cuestionario utilizado incluyó preguntas sobre tamaño de la red de apoyo, apoyo total y las dimensiones emocional, consejo, instrumental y reciprocidad. Se encontraron diferencias significativas entre los grupos, de modo que el grupo no infractor mostró un mayor tamaño de la red de apoyo, y mayores niveles en cada una de las dimensiones de apoyo y apoyo percibido familiar, en comparación con el grupo de infractores. | es-ES |
| dc.description | This study compared perceived social support in two groups of 14 to 18 years old male adolescents, from the city of Linares (Chile), 53 law offenders and 53 non offenders. They were matched on several sociodemographic variables in order to equate both groups. The questionnare that was administered included questions about social network size, total support and four dimensions: emotional, advice, instrumental and reciprocity. Results showed signifi cant differences between groups: non offenders showed a higher level of support network size, and higher levels on each dimension of support, and support perceived in the family, in comparison to law offenders. | en-US |
