dc.descriptionEn el presente trabajo se presentan algunas de las transformaciones y nuevos desarrollos de la psicología social ocidental y latinoamericana en el siglo XX, al tiempo que se argumenta a favor de la realidad de la coorperación mutua entre las distintas disciplinas que conforman las llamadas ciencias sociales. Algunas de las nuevas formas transdisciplinarias de la psicología moderna son la psicología cultural que, gracias a la confluencia entre antropología, sociología de la cultura, semiología y psicoanálisis, va más allá de la usual psicología social norteamericana; la psicología transcultural, que compara empírica y sistemáticamente funciones psíquicas y características de distintas culturas; la etnopsicología y etnopsicoanálisis, más antigua que las anteriores (parte con Freud) y que se ha desarrollado espcialmente en Francia; la psicohistoria, que enmarca la historia psicológica individual dentro de la historia social y se amplía a las colectividades, por último la psicopolítica, la cual se aplica al análisis psicológico (y psicosocial) de todas las formas del poder.es-ES
dc.descriptionThis paper presents some of the transformations and new developments of occidental and Latin American social psychology in the 20th century, while at the same time arguing the reality of the mutual cooperation between the different disciplines that conform the so called social sciences. Some of these new transdisciplinary forms of modern psychology include cultural psychology which, thanks to the confluence between anthropology, cultural sociology, semiology and psychoanalysis, goes beyond usual North American social psychology; transcultural psychology, that systematically compares empirical psychological functions and characteristics of different cultures, etnopsychology and etnopsychoanalysis, an older discipline (starts with Freud) with special development in France, historic psychology, which frames individual psychological history inside social history and opens to collectivities, and last politic psychology, applied to psychological (and psychosocial) analysis of all forms of power.en-US
