| dc.description | El artículo aborda el tema de la resilencia desde una perspectiva inusual: la biológica. Partiendo del hecho de que las ciencias conductuales no han logrado desarrollar marcos conceptuales que permitan explicitarlo, muestra las contribuciones realizadas por la biología en este sentido.Para ello revisa hallazgos recientes obtenidos en el campo de la neurología, los cuales dan cuenta de la relación existente entre el comportamiento y la actividad adrenocortical (específicamente, la producción de la hormona esteroidal cortisol). Finalmente, estrae algunas ideas preliminares acerca de la relevancia del tema para las disciplinas interesadas en el desarrollo infantil. | es-ES |
| dc.description | This study deals with the issue of resilience from a rather unusual perspective: a biological one. Considering that behavioral sciences have been unable to develop conceptual frameworks which might explain resilience, here we present some contributions of biology in this regard. We present a review of recent findings in the field of neurology which account for the relation between behavior and adrenocortical activity (specifically, the production of the steroidal hormone cortisol). Finally, we extract some preliminary ideas on the relevance of the subject for disciplines interested in child development. | en-US |
