| dc.description | Este trabajo explora la relación entre la capacidad de visualizar estados mentales y la internalización de modelos operantes de apego. Se hipoteiza que las relaciones de apego mantenidas en las relaciones tempranas del niño, son un elemento central en el posterior desarollo de una teoría de la mente. Directamente ligado a lo anterior se sugiere que diferentes patrones o estilos de apego desarrollados por el niño pueden facilitar o dificultar el surgimiento de la capacidad de representar la conducta en términos de estados mentales. La muestra estuvo constituida por 60 niños, con edades entre tres y seis años, divididos de acuredo a su género y grupos de edad. Los instrumentos utilizados en esta investigación fueron la Tarea de Completación de Historias de Apego, para identificar modelos operantes de apego, y las Tareas de Predicción y Explicación para detectar teoría de la mente en los sujetos evaluados. Los resultados obtenidos arrojaron una clara relación entre la internalización de los estilos de apego y el nivel de desarrollo de teoría de la mente, encontrándose una alta relación entre el estilo de apego Seguro y nivel de desarrollo de teoría de la mente. Se concluye con un análisis teórico de las posibles condiciones que estarían involucradas en la relación entre estilos de apego y teoría de la mente. | es-ES |
| dc.description | This work explores the relationship between the capacity to visualize mental state and the internalization of attachment working models. The hypothesis is that attachment relationships maintained by children in their early relationships, are a central element in later development of a theory of mind. Related to this issue, it is suggested that different patterns or attachment styles developed by children can facilitate or hinder the emergence of the capacity to represent the behavior in terms of mental states. The sample was constituted by 60 children, at ages between three and six years old, divided according to gender and age-groups. The instruments used in this investigation were Task of Completing Attachment Histories, to identify attachment working models, and the Task of Prediction and Explanation to detect theory of mind. The results show a clear relationship between attachment styles and level of development of theory of mind, showing a link between the attachment style Secure and higher development of theory of mind. It concludes with a theoretical analysis of possible conditions that would be involved in the relationship between attachment styles and theory of mind. | en-US |
