| dc.description | Se presenta el Inventario Clínico para Adolescentes de Millon (MACI), a través de una breve revisión teórica y la descripción de tres estudios empíricos realizados en Chile. El Estudio 1, realizado con 300 adolescentes escolarizados, sin problemas de salud mental, establece diferencias significativas según sexo y edad de los sujetos. El Estudio 2, a través de la evaluación de 74 adolescentes consultantes por problemas de salud mental y sus pares no consultantes, muestra la capacidad del MACI para diferenciar entre estos dos grupos.El Estudio 3, evalúa 62 adolescentes con problemas de adaptación social y muestra la capacidad del MACI para diferenciar a estos jóvenes de un grupo normal pareado. Estos resultados son discutidos en función de los aportes que este instrumento puede hacer al mejor conocimiento de los adolescentes en nuestro pais. | es-ES |
| dc.description | The Millon Adolescent Clinical Inventory (MACI) is presented through a brief theoretical revision and the description of three empiric studies done in Chile. Study 1, done with 300 school adolescents without mental health problems, shows significant differences considering the subjects’ sex and age. Study 2, through the assessment of 74 adolescents consulting for mental health problems and their non-consulting peers, shows MACI’s capability to differentiate between these two groups. Study 3 assesses 62 adolescents with social adaptation problems and shows MACI’s capability to differentiate between these youngsters and their normal peers. These results are discussed considering the contributions this test may bring to increase the knowledge about adolescents in our country | en-US |
