| dc.description | La violencia al interior de la familia ha sido asumida en los últimos diez años en Chile como un problema de salud mental de relevancia. La violencia en las relaciones de pareja consituye una expresión específica de dicho fenómeno. El presente artículo recupera la experiencia terapéutica con mujeres agredidas por sus parejas desarrollada en el Centro Psicológico de la Pontificia Universidad Católica en el marco del programa de "Prevención y apoyo a la mujer, el niño y la niña maltratados", realizado entre los años 1992 y 1997. El trabajo terapéutico con mujeres agredidas requiere de un enfoque teórico y práctico específico, que será explicitado e ilustrado a través del relato de un caso clínico. | es-ES |
| dc.description | Family violence has been considered as a relevant mental health problem in Chile in the last decade. In this paper spousal abuse is presented as a specific expression of this phenomenon. The present paper presents the therapeutic experience of a woman who has been abused by her male partners. This clinical intervention was included in the “Program for prevention and support to abused woman and children”, a community program carried out at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, between 1992 and 1997. Therapeutic work with abused women requires a specific theoretical approach, which will be described and illustrated with a clinical case. | en-US |
