| dc.description | According to protestant-evangelical christianism emergent in Chile and Latin America, the conversion to Jesus Christ triggers a process of psychological and spiritual change of evident psychotherapeutic implication. In order to describe and understand this process from the believers experience, a study using life histories and thematic and hermeneutic analysis was made, focused on the processes lived by the subjects and the changes and experiences that Christianity has entailed for them. The most interesting finding shows that the appropriation of the principles of Christianity and the experience of God’s love and paternity are the central points that sustain the therapeutic character of this experience of faith. | en-US |
| dc.description | De acuerdo con el cristianismo protestante-evangélico, emergente en Chile y Latinoamérica, la conversión a Jesucristo desencadena un proceso de cambio psicológico y espiritual de evidentes connotaciones psicoterapéuticas. Con el propósito de describir y comprender este proceso desde la experiencia de los creyentes, se realizó una investigación con relatos de vida y análisis temático y hermenéutico, los cuales informan de los procesos vividos por los sujetos y los cambios y experiencias que ha conllevado el cristianismo en ellos. Sin embargo, el hallazgo más atractivo muestra que la apropiación de los principios del cristianismo y la vivencia del amor y paternidad de Dios son los ejes que sustentan el carácter sanador de esta experiencia de fe. | es-ES |
