dc.description	El presente trabajo tiene por finalidad recomendar la inclusión de la literatura en los currículos de educación superior como una estrategia privilegiada, entre muchas otras, para transmitir a los estudiantes del siglo XXI un tipo de pensamiento respondente al actual cambio de paradigma frente al conocimiento, sobre la base de las siguientes razones: (1) La literatura constituye la más productiva fuente de enriquecimiento lingüístico y amplía la cognición, dado que la realidad está mayoritariamente condicionada por el bagaje lingüístico que cada uno posee. (2) extiende la información al describir mundos alejados que no se profundizarían si sólo se les enfrentara a través de textos expositivos, sin participación de la emoción. (3) Estimula la imaginería, base la creatividad. (4) Estimula la producción de textos creativos. (5) Juega un papel crítico en nuestras vidas al ayudar a comprendernos y a comprender a los demás y proporciona distintas perspectivas para examinar nuestos pensamientos, sentimientos, creencias, prejuicios y acciones. A modo de preposición, el artículo plantea: enriquecer con obras literarias las bibliotecas especializadas y estimular a los estudiantes y académicos a participar en Círculos literarios y Talleres de escritura creativa. Finalmente se aclara que las recomendaciones planteadas no significan hacer perder su espcificidad a aquellas áreas dedicadas a la formación de profesores de Letraas o lengua castellana, estableciendo como explicación un correlato entre concepciones micro y macrológicas frente al proceso enseñanza/aprendizaje.	es-ES
dc.description	The present work advocate for the inclusion of literature in higher education curriculum, as a privileged strategy, among others, to develop in XXI century students a type of thought appropriate to the current paradigm change with regard to knowledge, on the base of the following reasons: (1) Literature provides the most productive form of linguistic enrichment and broadens cognition, because reality is mostly determined by the linguistic background owned by the individual. (2) It extends information through the description of distant worlds that would not be deepened if were only approached through expository texts, without participation of emotions. (3) It stimulates imagination, base of creativity. (4) It stimulates creative texts productions. (5) It plays a critical role in our lives by helping us understand ourselves and others and it provides different perspectives to examine our thoughts, feelings, believes, prejudices, and actions. As a proposal, the article suggests: enriching specialized libraries with literacy works and stimulating students and faculty to participate in Literacy Circles and creative writing workshops. Finally, it makes clear that these suggestions do not imply that those areas dedicated to train Language and Literature teachers would lose their specificity, establishing as an explanation a relationship between micro and macrologic conceptions toward the teaching/learning process.	en-US
