dc.description	El artículo presenta una definicón del maltrato infantil que se basa en la no satisfación de las necesidades infantiles y adolescentes, que adopta una amplia perspectiva tomando como base la existencia de un continuo entre el buen trato y el mal trato. Para ello, y partiendo de la teoría de Doyal y Gough (1992) sobre las necesidades humanas básicas, defiende como necesidades infantiles y adolescentes universales la salud física y la autonomía. Aunque al mismo tiempo, señala la existencia de satisfactores universales o necesidades de segundo orden que pueden variar de una cultura a otra. Finalmente, propone una aproximación teórica, desde la psicología del desarrollo, a las necesidades infantiles y adolescentes en los diferentes períodos evolutivos.	es-ES
dc.description	The article present a ill-treatment definition based on non-satisfaction on children and adolescent’s needs. A continuum, from well-treatment to ill-treatment is accepted, from this perspective. Form theoretical perspective of Doyal and Gough (1992), about the basic human needs, the article suggest health and autonomy as universal children and adolescent’s needs. Although at the same time propose the existence of second order needs that can to change from one culture to other culture. Finally, the article propose an theoretical approach, from developmental psychology, on children and adolescents’ needs.	en-US
