The findings of a research aimed to explore and describe the Creation of Animals Tales by early teenagers are presented. The results were compared in a group of 160 teenagers from Santiago, Chile, whose ages ranged between 13 years and 13 years 11 months, considering gender, two different socioeconomic levels, and two diagnostic categories, normal and pathologic. The material was analyzed both in a qualitative and quantitative manner. The results allow to conclude Ihat the technique is easy to apply, gives significant psychodinamic information, and is of great help in the evaluation and follow up of psychotherapeutic processesSe presentan los resultados de una investigación orientada a explorar y describir la Creación de Cuentos de Animales como potencial instrumento proyectivo a ser usado en jóvenes púberes. Se comparan los resultados en una muestra constituida por 160 púberes de Santiago de Chile entre 13 años y 13 años 11 meses, según sexo, dos niveles socioeconómicos y dos grupos diagnósticos, normales y patológicos. El material fue analizado cualitativa y cuantitativamente. Los resultados encontrados permiten afirmar que la técnica es de fácil aplicación, entrega información psicodinámica significativa y resulta de gran utilidad en la evalucación de los individuos y el seguimiento de los procesos psicoterapéuticos.
