| dc.description | The present article has the pretence of rescuing the Intracommunity Psychiatry program developed between 1968 and 1973 in Santiago de Chile. This program became a model of interventions based on community participation in alcoholism, neurosis and sensorial deprivation situations. A central figure in its design and implementation was the psychiatrist Juan Marconi. With the aim of rescuing unknown topics and reflections based on this program, the present article focuses on the testimony of the person that lead this initiative. Additionally, considering the historical dimension that the publication of this testimony has for community psychology, the second part of this article includes the perception of two well known community psychologists about the contribution of this program to the discipline, in its initial phase. | en-US |
| dc.description | El presente trabajo pretende rescatar el programa Psiquiatría Intracomunitaria desarrollado durante 1968 y 1973 en Santiago de Chile. Este programa fue un modelo de intervención con participación de la comunidad en alcoholismo, neurosis y privación sensorial. Una figura central en el diseño e implementación del mismo fue el psiquiatra Juan Marconi. Con la finalidad de rescatar aspectos no conocidos y reflexiones del programa es que este artículo se centra en el testimonio de quien encabezó esta iniciativa. Adicionalmente, considerando la dimensión histórica que adopta la publicación de este testimonio para la psicología comunitaria, en la segunda parte se incluye la percepción de dos destacados psicólogos comunitarios chilenos respecto a la contribución del programa a la disciplina, en su etapa de nacimiento. | es-ES |
