dc.descriptionThe article presents a review of the state-of-the-art on the role of women in the armed conflicts that shaped the Andean Triple-border-Area (between Bolivia, Chile and Peru) and the Paraná Triple-border-Area (between Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay) in the 19th century. To summarize these debates, we will start by carrying out, in the second section, a discussion of the analytical categories that underlie the gender shift in the historiographical perspective influenced by the feminist debates in that field. We will also discuss their areas of interpellation with the studies of inequality and gender violence in border territories. In the third section, we offer a synthetic description of the current configuration of the two border contexts that we will analyze. In the fourth section, we will delve into the wars that constructed the Andean Triple-border-Area in the 19th century, while in the fifth, we will debate the war that shaped the Triple-border-Area of the Paraná River. We conclude with our comparative analyzes, discussing the concept of ultraintensity patriarchy.en-US
dc.descriptionEl artículo presenta una revisión del estado del arte sobre el papel de las mujeres en los conflictos bélicos que configuraron la Triple-frontera Andina (entre Bolivia, Chile y Perú) y del Paraná (entre Argentina, Brasil y Paraguay) en el siglo XIX. Para dar cuenta de estos debates partiremos por realizar, en el segundo apartado, una discusión de las categorías analíticas que fundamentan el giro de género en la perspectiva historiográfica a partir de los debates feministas en dicho campo. Indagaremos, asimismo, sobre sus zonas de interpelación con los estudios de la desigualdad y violencia de género en los territorios de frontera. En el tercer apartado, ofrecemos una sintética descripción de la configuración actual de los dos contextos fronterizos que analizaremos. En el cuarto apartado, profundizamos en el proceso de construcción bélica de la Triple-frontera Andina en el siglo XIX, mientras en el quinto, en el de la Triple-frontera del Paraná. Finalizamos con nuestros análisis comparativos en los que discutimos el concepto de patriarcado de ultraintensidad.es-ES
