The educational reform generated a broad public debate for its attempt to change the market character of education, through the elimination of mechanisms for student selection and shared funding, and the creation of a new School Admission System. The following paper, based on a qualitative study, analyzes the changes occurred in the discourses of the participants of the new system. The results allow to identify that the change in the logics of admission brings together two previously separate social groups: those who chose private subsidized schools, with co-payments, and those who enrolled their children in municipal schools. The mixture disorganized a scheme of social and educational classification, revealed as sociologically dense. In this sense, the social conversation about the SAE and its consequences is organized in a polyphony discursive, regarding the matter of justice in the allocation of school vacancies.La reforma educativa reciente generó un amplio debate público por su intento de modificar el carácter mercantil de la educación, a través de la eliminación de los mecanismos de selección de alumnos y financiamiento compartido, y de la creación de un nuevo Sistema de Admisión Escolar. El siguiente texto, basado en un estudio cualitativo, analiza los cambios ocurridos en los discursos de los participantes del nuevo sistema. Los resultados permiten identificar que el cambio en las lógicas de la admisión reúne dos conjuntos sociales previamente separados: quienes elegían escuelas particulares subvencionadas, con copago, y quienes matriculaban a sus hijos en escuelas municipales. La mezcla desorganizó un esquema de clasificación social y educativa, revelada como sociológicamente densa. En tal sentido, la conversación social sobre el SAE y sus consecuencias viene partida en una polifonía organizada, que tiene por tema central la cuestión de la justicia en la asignación de vacantes escolares.
