dc.descriptionThis work comments on a judgment of the Supreme Court on investment companies and a specific kind of local tax. This judgment departs from the trend set by the same Court. In addition, the case is decided on the ground on a corollary of the principle of tax legality: the restrictive interpretation, one of the most important elements to control public powers and to guarantee individual rights.en-US
dc.descriptionEste trabajo comenta una sentencia de la Corte Suprema sobre el cobro de patente municipal a las sociedades de inversiones. Esta sentencia es novedosa hace excepción a la tendencia jurisprudencial marcada por el mismo Tribunal. Además, abunda en un corolario del principio de legalidad tributaria: la interpretación restrictiva, uno de los elementos más importantes del control del poder público y la garantía de los derechos individuales.es-ES
