| dc.description | This research has to do with the elements of social communication that are present in the interpretation of the natural and cultural heritage of the Humbolt Penguin Reserve (Coquimbo Region), as well as a systemic understanding of this relationship in order to successfully deliver the message. Therefore, we have taken into account what a national reserve means, in a locality where most of its inhabitants have tourism and artisanal fisheries as the basis for the development of the locality, as well as the source of their opportunities. The objectives are to analyze and understand the relationship of the territory, in which the natural and cultural heritage converge, with the wellbeing of a community, as well as the role of communication in this symbiotic relationship. There is an urgent need to develop scientific, technical and institutional capacities that develop a basic understanding capable of planning appropriate measures related to the care and preservation of biodiversity. And, we add, if this not communicated, it will not be feasible to achieve the determined objectives. | en-US |
| dc.description | En la presente investigación se abordan cuáles son los elementos de la comunicación social presentes en la interpretación del patrimonio natural y cultural de la Reserva Pingüino de Humbolt (Región de Coquimbo), así como la comprensión sistémica de su relación para la entrega exitosa del mensaje. Por lo tanto, se tiene en consideración lo que significa una reserva nacional en una localidad donde la mayoría de sus habitantes tienen como sustento el turismo y la pesca artesanal, bases del desarrollo de la localidad, como también, las fuentes de sus oportunidades. Los objetivos son analizar y comprender la relación entre el territorio, en el que confluyen el patrimonio natural y el cultural, con la condición de bienestar de una comunidad y el rol de la comunicación en esta relación simbiótica. Existe una necesidad urgente de desarrollar capacidades científicas, técnicas e institucionales que originen un entendimiento básico capaz de planificar las medidas adecuadas en relación al cuidado y preservación de la biodiversidad. Y, añadimos, sin comunicación de las mismas, no es posible conseguir los objetivos determinados. | es-ES |
