| dc.description | The central theses in this paper are discussed in the context of the crisis of the Modern State in its political, social, economic and cultural aspects. The “public affair” in Latin America moves towards the intermediate organisms and those that constitute the basis of society; thus, it develops a convergence between public and private interest. On the other hand, the new relationships developped in a global economy affect the State in its function, standing out human development, culture and national identity as important tasks. In the educational field, the State’s role corresponds to an articulatory function of heterogeneties and a restatement of a value-formative process. The public role of the State in the preparation and training of teachers comes out from these sceneries. | en-US |
| dc.description | Las tesis centrales del artículo se plantean en el contexto de la crisis del Estado Moderno en lo político, social, económico y cultural. La “cosa pública” en América Latina se traslada hacia los organismos intermedios y de base de la sociedad; por ello, se produce una convergencia entre el interés colectivo y el privado; por su parte, las nuevas relaciones que se desarrollan en una economía global afectan al Estado en su función, donde se señala como tarea importante el desarrollo humano sustentable, la cultura y la identidad nacional. En el campo educacional al Estado le corresponde una función articuladora de heterogeneidades y un papel de reposicionamiento de la formación valórica. Desde esos escenarios, se desarrolla el rol público del Estado en la formación y el perfeccionamiento de los profesores. | es-ES |
