| dc.description | The aim of this article is to review the current information on the problem of teaching a second language in the early years, looking at the existing theoretical references, specially those gathered by Hamers and Blanc (1995). This framework will be related to the characteristics of a program that includes the teaching of a second language should have. A general proposal for such a program is made considering the factors that will guarantee that the child will obtain the benefits from this early experience with a second language. | en-US |
