The design and development of a multimedia system to stimulate relevant notions in pre-school education in blind children is presented, the covering following areas: Language, Number, Temporary and Spatial Orientation. Interaction with the system is through a tactile screen divided in four quadrants. The tactile screen has different selection areas texture, so that the blind child can recognize them.  The system was implemented in an integrated Kindergarten for both blind and normal children. During a period of seven months, the impact of its incorporation in the pedagogical working-day was evaluated. This work presents the evaluation methods used, and the outcomes obtained. Changes in class work organization, and students’ reactions to this new technology were the most remarkable outcome.Se presenta el diseño y desarrollo de un sistema multimedial para estimular en el niño ciego algunas de las nociones relevantes en la educación preescolar, abarcando las áreas de Lenguaje, Número, Orientación Temporal y Orientación Espacial.  La interacción con el sistema es a través de una pantalla táctil dividida en cuatro cuadrantes, que en sus orillas exteriores cuenta con áreas de selección, destacadas en textura para que el niño ciego las pueda reconocer.  El sistema fue implementado en un jardín infantil de integración para niños ciegos y videntes. Durante siete meses, se evaluó el impacto de su incorporación en la jornada pedagógica. Este trabajo presenta la metodología de evaluación utilizada y los resultados obtenidos.  Como aspectos centrales, destacan los cambios a nivel de la organización del trabajo en clases y las reacciones de los educandos ante esta nueva tecnología.
