| dc.description | The advance and development of communication technologies (Like the telephone, television and computer networks) and the need of promoting a change in the actual educational scheme (centered in providing resources for the teaching) have suggested the use of these technologies for the support of the teaching and learning. These technologies of telecommunications and information systems allow the improvement of the support materials available to students (Interactive multimedia training software, Virtual reality systems), to improve the quality of the interaction between teachers and students, etc. This article does a quick review of the technologies that can support the learning process, centering the analysis in the videoconferencing technology. | en-US |
| dc.description | El desarrollo y avance de tecnologías de comunicación (tales como el teléfono, la televisión y las redes de computadores) junto con la necesidad de provocar un cambio en el esquema educativo imperante (centrado en poner recursos al servicio de la enseñanza), han sugerido la utilización de estas tecnologías para apoyar el proceso enseñanza-aprendizaje. Estas tecnologías de informática y telecomunicaciones, permiten mejorar el material de apoyo disponible para los alumnos (software multimedial interactivo de autoinstrucción, sistemas de realidad virtual), mejorar la calidad de la interacción entre los alumnos y los profesores, etc. Este artículo hace una rápida revisión de las tecnologías que podrían apoyar este proceso de aprendizaje, centrando su análisis en la tecnología de videoconferencia. | es-ES |
