dc.descriptionThe objective of this article is to describe the experiences related to Social Tourismand Community-Based that some Latin American countries have and to establisha comparison with the reality that the Cuban experience shows,specifical-ly in the Province of Camagüey. For this, documentary review,interviews with managers of territories identified with potential for tourismdevelopment have been used as fundamental methods. The work will give uselements to identify the socio cultural and natural values of the localities understudy, which will serve as theoretical support for the realization of future worksfor the proposal of new community-based tourist products in the province ofCamagüey, since It imposes the diversification of nature tourism products, ofopen spaces and that with this there is an expansion of rural or communitytourism in order to avoid crowds after COVID.en-US
dc.descriptionEl artículo que se presenta tiene como objetivo describir las experiencias relacionadascon el turismo social y de base comunitaria que poseen algunos paísesde Latinoamérica y establecer una comparación con la realidad que muestra laexperiencia cubana, específicamente en la Provincia de Camagüey. Para ello sehan utilizado como métodos fundamentales la revisión documental, entrevistas adirectivos de territorios identificados con potencialidades para el desarrollo delturismo. El trabajo dará elementos para identificar los valores socioculturales ynaturales de las localidades objeto de estudio, lo cual servirá de sustento teórico ala realización de futuros trabajos para la propuesta de nuevos productos turísticostanto social como de base comunitaria en la provincia de Camagüey, ya que esde vital importancia la diversificación de productos turísticos de naturaleza, deespacios abiertos que contribuya a la expansión del turismo rural o comunitariocon el fin de evitar aglomeraciones después del COVID.es-ES
