El artículo pretende abrir conversaciones en torno a una temática que es un referenteobligado si deseamos construir una sociedad democrática: el reconocimiento delOtro /Otra y el reconocimiento de la diversidad social y cultural. La responsabilidadcon el Otro /Otra, se nos impone como un imperativo ético ineludible para la educaciónsocial. Educación, que interpela el círculo de la reproducción, para entrar en unaperspectiva legítimamente liberadora, justiciera y emancipadora. Se trata de ponera la educación al servicio de la responsabilidad con el Otro/Otra, abriendo espaciosa la convergencia de identidades, todas aportando, desde sus propias miradas, a laconstrucción de un proyecto colectivo incluyente.This article aims to encourage conversations around a compulsory topic, if we are tobuild a democratic society: acknowledging the Other and the social-cultural diversity.Responsibility towards the Other is imposed upon us as an unavoidable ethical imperativefor social education. In this sense, education questions the reproduction circleand moves towards a truly liberating, emancipatory and justice oriented approach.In other words, education should be of service to the Other’s responsibility, openingspaces for the convergence of identities which contribute from their particular viewstowards building an inclusive collective project.
