dc.description	This paper contains a series of philosophical reflections that try to tietogether certain aspects of the functioning of the human brain with recent findings in physics, psychology and the cognitive sciences. The thesis is that the articulation of these findings validates the generation of theoretical constructs that might prove to be useful for enriching the approach to and interpretation of the social sciences and humanities. Examples are proposed that demonstrate the applicability of these constructs for interpreting contemporary historical and cultural developments by carefully considering their own relativity as an instrument as well as their future potential.	en-US
dc.description	Este trabajo contiene una serie de reflexiones filosóficas que intentanconcatenar algunos aspectos sobre el funcionamiento del cerebro humano con avances recientes de la física, la psicología y las ciencias cognitivas. Se plantea que la articulación de estos avances convalida la generación de constructos teóricos que podrían ser útiles para enriquecer el tratamiento e interpretación de las ciencias sociales y las humanidades. Se proponen ejemplos demostrativos de aplicabilidad de dichos constructos en la interpretación del devenir histórico y cultural contemporáneos, ahondando en su propia relatividad y en su potencialidad a futuro.	es-ES
