| dc.description | This article contributes to the current discussion on the category of gender. On the one hand, we have a society that has advanced on issues of equity on the basis of this notion and, on the other, the reflection of the Catholic Church’s magisterium, which warns of the subtlety that lies behind gender ideology, since human being wants to be culturally constituted as male and female independent of the original call of their Creator. In a succinct perspective, this articleprovides a general view on the genesis of the concept, its intellectual development and the consequences it has had in shaping new policies in western society in the 20th and 21st centuries. A theology whose starting point is dialogue with the God of Jesus Christ in and from the world, has incorporated the term “gender” in the studies carried out by feminist theology. This provides an analytical tool that allows, on the one hand, to denounce a theological anthropology sustained in the division and discrimination of the male and female relationship and, on the other, to announce, in line with the Second Vatican Council, an anthropology based on the Trinitarian mystery. This means constantly thinking of human beings as a key to individuality and otherness. We have been created by God as beings equal in dignity and diverse in our identity. Consequently, the discrimination of the diverse contradicts God’s love for his creature. This requires, above all for believers, to work constantly to guarantee dignity, human vocation and the development of relationships marked by respect, appreciation and integration of all. For current theology and in the emphasis of feminist theology, in the trinity of God we find the axis that allows us to talk about human relationships based on the recognition of diversity, in companionship, mutuality and community. | en-US |
| dc.description | Este artículo quiere ser un aporte a la encendida discusión actual en torno a la categoría de género. Por una parte, tenemos a una sociedad que ha avanzado en temas de equidad a partir de dicho término y, por otra, la reflexión del magisterio de la Iglesia Católica advierte de los equívocos que se esconden detrás de la ideología de género, toda vez que el ser humano quiere constituirse culturalmente como varón y mujer independiente del llamado original de su Creador. De manera sucinta este escrito ofrece una mirada general sobre la génesis del concepto, su desarrollo intelectual y las consecuencias que ha tenido en la configuración de nuevas políticas para la sociedad occidental del siglo XX y XXI. La teología, cuyo punto de arranque es dialogar con el Dios de Jesucristo en y desde el mundo, ha incorporado el término “genero” en los estudios realizados por la teología feminista. Una herramienta analítica que le ha permitido, por una parte, denunciar una antropología teológica sostenida en la división y discriminación de la relación varón y mujer y, por otra, anunciar, en la misma línea del Concilio Vaticano II,una antropología fundada en el misterio trinitario. Esto significa pensar constantemente al ser humano en clave de individualidad y alteridad. Hemos sido creados por Dios como seres iguales en dignidad y diversos en nuestra identidad. Consecuentemente la discriminación de lo diverso contradice lo querido por Dios para su criatura. Esto exige, sobre todo para los creyentes, trabajar constantemente por la garantía de la dignidad humana y el desarrollo de relaciones marcadas por el respeto, valoración e integración de todos. Para la teología actual y en los acentos propios de la teología feminista, en la trinidad de Dios encontramos el eje que nos permite hablar de relaciones humanas basadas en el reconocimiento de la diversidad, en el compañerismo, mutualidad y comunidad. | es-ES |
