| dc.description | This paper puts forward that the key to improve educational quality is to move ahead from functional education towards a competence based education Preparation of this article involved an analysis of the concept of competence: its characterisation, classification, and how it relates to an entrepreneurial context, which notwithstanding the above, may constitute a valid offer for the school. Likewise it proposes elements that may be relevant for designing a model for educational improvement based on competence. The model allows the educational system to move forward from an educational system centred on the “what to do school”model to a “how to do” model. | en-US |
| dc.description | El presente artículo propone que una clave para mejorar la calidad de la educación es avanzar, desde una gestión educativa funcional, a una gestión educativa basada en competencia. En la elaboración del artículo fue necesario aproximarse al concepto de competencia, como ésta se caracteriza, se clasifica y se relaciona en un contexto empresarial que, sin perjuicio de ello, puede constituirse en una propuesta válida para la escuela. Asimismo, se proponen elementos que puedan ser relevantes al momento de diseñar un modelo de mejoramiento de la gestión basado en competencia. Permitiéndole al sistema educacional avanzar desde una gestión educativa centrada en el qué hacer de la escuela a un modelo de gestión educativa centrada en el cómo hacer de la escuela. | es-ES |
