| dc.description | The purpose of this paper is to relate the curriculum of History and Social Sciences with the professional development of teachers. The paper is divided in four topics. First, general characteristics of a curriculum proposal developed by the National Council for the Social Studies are described. Second, relationships between the professional competence and development of teachers are analyzed. Third, the study object of the didactic of Social Sciences field is discussed and fourth, a theoretical model that relates the pre-service development with the teaching practice of specialists is exhibited. | en-US |
| dc.description | Este trabajo pretende vincular el currículo de la historia y ciencias sociales de la enseñanza obligatoria y la formación y el desarrollo profesional del profesorado responsable de su implementación en la práctica. Se divide en cuatro apartados: en el primero, se presentan las características generales de un currículo para el siglo XX siguiendo la propuesta realizada por el National Council for the Social Studies de los EE.UU. en 1994. El segundo trata de las relaciones entre la formación del profesorado y su competencia didáctica para enseñar contenidos concretos de un área de conocimiento o de una disciplina. El tercero plantea el objeto de estudio y de investigación de la Didáctica de las Ciencias Sociales y, finalmente, el cuarto se centra en el análisis de un modelo para relacionar la formación inicial del profesorado con la práctica de la enseñanza de la historia y las ciencias sociales. | es-ES |
