| dc.description | Whereas philosophy has, from time immemorial, invited educative thinking toward an opening on universality, that concern must now, more than even, be combined with that of attention to persons and to singular situations, which clearly gives pedagogical action greater and greater specificity. The rapport to truth is then transformed and deepened. It can help to situate the desire to know, to characterize the originality of the educative relationship, to understand the necessity of cultural plurality, and to draw all the consequences of the modern idea of liberty, a starting point for man to be able to accomplish himself both in his temporal finitude and his responsibility. | en-US |
