| dc.description | The following essay is a reflection about the critical state in which historical, personal and collective memory is to be found, inside as well as outside the formal school confines, in a society which stands in front of the third millennium, imbedded in the overwhelming and problematic globalization of westerm ethos. By establishing the loss of organics links of present generations with a past that is no more “their own past”, in a sociocultural state founded as on forms of fossilized memory to the service of the will of dominion of Modernity as well as on a “phobia of the past” which stimulates living the present without criticism, we are invited to articulate a memory characterized both as paschal and considerate, this is a meaningfull and respectfull remembering others past and present, capable of sensibilizing people about their own and troublesome “our time”, in persue of them becoming awere of how they can intervene it, in the ligth of the experience of their own dead. | en-US |
| dc.description | El presente ensayo es una reflexión acerca del crítico “estado de la cuestión” en que se encuentra el ejercicio de la memoria histórica, personal y colectiva, tanto dentro como fuera del ámbito escolar formal, en la sociedad ad portas del tercer milenio, en el contexto de la avasalladora y problemática globalización del ethos occidental. Desde la constatación de la pérdida de los lazos orgánicos de las actuales generaciones, con un pasado que ha dejado de ser “su propio tiempo pasado”, en un escenario sociocultural fundado, tanto en formas de memoria fosilizada al servicio de la voluntad de dominio de la Modernidad como en una preterofobia que estimula un presentismo acrítico, se invita a articular una memoria que se caracteriza como pascual y considerada, esto es, un recordar significativo y respetuoso de la alteridad pasada y presente, capaz de sensibilizar a los sujetos, acerca de su particular y problemático “nuestro tiempo”, en orden a la toma de conciencia por parte de los mismos, de la viabilidad de intervenirlo a la luz de la experiencia de los propios muertos. | es-ES |
