This article reviews in a critical way the scientific production of Sergio Yáñez Pérez and suggests- based on the analysis of his interpretation of articles 15 and 16 of the Penal Code- the possibility to deepen in the regulation of the concept of "criminally responsible", as a category that allows the accusation in those cases of joint doing, prior to its qualification of "authorship", "co-authorship", "complicity" and "induction", categories that are said to seem merely contingent and that would only have the function of determining the quantum of the penalty in our system.El artículo examina críticamente la producción científica de Sergio Yáñez Pérez y, a partir de un análisis de su interpretación de los artículos 15 y 16 del Código Penal, plantea la posibilidad de profundizar en la normativización del concepto de "responsables penalmente", como categoría que permite la imputación en casos de obrar conjunto, previa a su calificación como "autoría", "coautoría", "complicidad" e "inducción", categorías que se afirma parecen meramente contingentes y que tendría, en nuestro sistema, solo la función de determinar el quantum de la pena.
