dc.descriptionBeyond the formal characteristics of the Constitutions that are part of the New Latin American Constitutionalism, the Charters of Ecuador (2008) and Bolivia (2009) are distinguished by a deep emancipatory and decolonizing spirit. One of its most important manifestations has to do with the recognition of cultural rights in indigenous peoples. The above is directly linked to an immemorial principle present in both constitutions, such as Good Living, which tells us about a new relationship with the natural and cultural environment. Among the manifestations of this new cultural deal with indigenous peoples is a plural vision of symbols, languages and nature understood as Mother Earth or Pachamama.en-US
dc.descriptionMás allá de las características formales de las Constituciones que forman parte del Nuevo Constitucionalismo Latinoamericano, las Cartas de Ecuador (2008) y Bolivia (2009) se distinguen por un profundo espíritu emancipatorio y descolonizador. Una de sus manifestaciones más importante tiene que ver con el reconocimiento de derechos culturales a los pueblos indígenas. Lo anterior se vincula directamente con un principio inmemorial presente en ambas constituciones, como es el del Buen Vivir, el cual nos habla de una nueva relación con el entorno natural y también cultural. Entre las manifestaciones de este nuevo trato cultural con los pueblos indígenas se encuentra una visión plural de los símbolos, de las lenguas y de la naturaleza entendida como Madre Tierra o Pachamama.es-ES
