dc.description	The article examines the graphic work of Luis Fernando Rojas referring to the War of the Pacific and his contribution to the formation of the visual culture of the conflict. Through an analysis of the visual and aesthetic resources deployed in his works, the paper analyzes the creation of a heroic imaginary around the war and its ideological relation with Chilean nationalism. The visual narrative of the war provided by the artist's illustrations was systematically propagated in the public opinion of the time, reaching a great social diffusion and popularity.	en-US
dc.description	El artículo examina la obra gráfica de Luis Fernando Rojas referente a la Guerra del Pacífico y su contribución a la formación de la cultura visual del conflicto. Por medio de un análisis de los recursos visuales y estéticos desplegados en sus trabajos se da cuenta de la creación de un imaginario heroico en torno a la guerra y su vínculo ideológico con el nacionalismo chileno. La narrativa visual de la guerra proporcionada por las ilustraciones del artista se propagó de manera sistemática en la opinión pública de la época, alcanzando una gran difusión social y popularidad.	es-ES
