| dc.description | The present study address the displacement of geodetic vertices produced by the earthquake on February27, 2010 in the central - southern Chile, with hypocenter in the sector of Concepción, covering data from theregions of Maule to the Lakes. For this information was collected through GPS, GNSS and the fixed activestations and passive stations of the geodetic vertices in a period of ten years from 2010 to 2020. From thesedata the distance they had from their point of origin was determined.In Chile the deformation is mainly due to the seismic cycle produced by the interaction between the tectonicplates (Nazca, South American, Antarctic), this cycle is constituted by the period prior to the occurrence ofan earthquake, the displacement during the earthquake and post-relaxation. earthquake. To understandthese movements, we use Spacial geodesy, in which we obtain information from satellites; with thisinformation, the position of points on the earth's surface is determined through coordinates (latitude,longitude, height) for the materialization of the geodetic network and thus form the geodetic vertices. Withthese data it is possible to estimate the total displacement of the georeferenced points in the field during the10 years of study. | en-US |
| dc.description | El presente estudio aborda los desplazamientos de los vértices geodésicos producidos por el terremoto del 27 de febrero de 2010 en la zona centro – sur de Chile, con hipocentro en el sector de Concepción, abarcando datos desde las regiones del Maule hasta la región de Los Lagos. Para ello, se recopiló información a través de GPS, GNSS y de las estaciones activas fijas y estaciones pasivas de los vértices geodésicos en un periodo de diez años desde 2010 a 2020. A partir de estos datos se determinó el alejamiento que tuvieron desde su punto de origen En Chile la deformación se debe principalmente al ciclo sísmico producido por la interacción entre las placas tectónicas (Nazca, Sudamericana, Antártica), este ciclo está constituido por el período previo a la ocurrencia de un sismo, el desplazamiento durante el sismo y la relajación post sismo. Para entender estos movimientos utilizamos la geodesia espacial, en la cual obtenemos la información desde los satélites; con esta información se determina la posición de puntos sobre la superficie terrestre mediante coordenadas (latitud, longitud, altura) para la materialización de la red geodésica y así conformar los vértices geodésicos. Con estos datos se puede estimar la totalidad del desplazamiento de los puntos georreferenciados en el terreno durante los 10 años de estudio. | es-ES |
