| dc.description | The article proposes a dialogue between the world of work and crime based on two historical experiences in the transition from the 19th to the 20th century. First, the adoption of criminological premises associated with labor discipline and, second, the (re)production of wage-earning habits in prison worshops. Through the review of press and the police publication, it suggests that the actions of the occasional thief were expressive of the fragility of the labor structure, a situation that allowed him to move between formal occupations and practices that border on illegality or were openly criminal. | en-US |
| dc.description | El artículo propone un diálogo entre el mundo del trabajo y del delito a partir de dos experiencias históricas forjadas en el tránsito del siglo XIX al XX. Primero, la adopción de las premisas criminológicas asociadas a la disciplina laboral y, segundo, la (re)producción de hábitos asalariados en los talleres carcelarios. Mediante la revisión de prensa y de la publicación policial capitalina, plantea que el actuar del ladrón ocasional fue expresivo de la fragilidad de la estructura laboral, situación que le permitió transitar entre ocupaciones formales y prácticas que bordearon la ilegalidad o que fueron abiertamente delincuenciales. | es-ES |
