| dc.description | For this research we collected contemporary versions of the Mapuche “Kai Kai-Treng Treng” myth, with the aim of writing a theater script of the myth. Data was collected using ethnographic methods and focus on the interdisciplinary contribution of anthropology and theater to the creative cultural process of indigenous people and to the input that these disciplines can make in this way, considering the ethic responsabilities that underlie at the process of intercultural representation. The cultural elements –myths, ritual, shamanism-that were taken into consideration during data collecting and writing of the theater scrip are described and analyzed from an anthropological perspective. | en-US |
| dc.description | El presente artículo es resultado de una investigación que tuvo por objeto recoger versiones contemporáneas del mito mapuche Kai Kai -Treng Treng con la intención de elaborar un guion teatral y su posterior puesta en escena. La investigación, basada en el método etnográfico, reflexiona respecto al aporte de la antropología y el teatro para contribuir a la difusión de las creaciones culturales indígenas, tomando en cuenta las responsabilidades éticas que implica la representación intercultural. Se describen y analizan antropológicamente los elementos culturales –mito, rito y chamanismo- que fueron tomados en cuenta para recoger la información y construir el guion teatral. | es-ES |
