It brings the depth of Mapuche cultural diversity to the fore, visually, audibly and for the senses. As a representation of modern-day Mapuche drama, this initiative seeks to embody culture and diverse forms within cultural memory, its preservation and communication, and to expand the canon and boundaries of the discipline. In the play, a repertoire of scenic traditions and mnemonic backdrops burst into the piece, setting the stage for one of the most unresolved issues experienced by the Mapuche people, their territorial identity. | en-US |
