The Anónimo de Praga is a succinct handwritten grammar of Ecuadorian Quichua, presumably from the 18th century. The work is cited in the monumental bibliography of Rivet and Créqui-Montfort and has so far received three editions. This paper seeks to rescue the outstanding aspects of this text that constitutes one of the founding documents for the study of the variant corresponding to Ecuadorian Quichua. By reviewing the manuscript and comparing it with the three existing editions, the linguistics and lexical elements that contribute to the understanding of many other aspects of Ecuadorian Quichua are analyzed. Divergent or absent elements in the current variant will be highlighted, in order to enrich the linguistic revitalization efforts carried out by the speakers themselves.El Anónimo de Praga es una sucinta gramática manuscrita del quichua ecuatoriano, presuntamente del siglo XVIII. La obra se encuentra citada en la monumental bibliografía de Rivet y Créqui-Montfort y ha recibido hasta ahora tres ediciones. El presente artículo busca rescatar los aspectos destacados de este texto que constituye uno de los documentos fundacionales para el estudio de la variante correspondiente al quichua ecuatoriano. Mediante la revisión del manuscrito y el cotejo con las tres ediciones existentes se analizan los elementos lingüísticos y lexicales que aportan a la comprensión de otros tantos aspectos del quichua ecuatoriano. Se destacarán los elementos divergentes o ausentes en la variante actual, con el fin de enriquecer los esfuerzos de revitalización lingüística que llevan adelante los propios hablantes.
