dc.description	Numerous authors have dealt with the agricultural potential of the Pampa del Tramarugal (Blake, 1843; Puelma, 1855; Bollaert 1860, among the oldest), almost all of them referring to the possibilities offered by the system of "canchones" in the Pampa; scarce are, on the other hand, the efforts directed to study in a concrete and systematic way the possibilities of reusing formerly cultivated soils and their consequent repopulation. This is the objective of the present analysis, which is predominantly historical in nature.	en-US
dc.description	Numerosos son los autores que se han ocupado de paso de las potencialidades agrícolas de la Pampa del Tramarugal (Blake, 1843; Puelma, 1855; Bollaert 1860, entre los más antiguos), refiriéndose casi todos ellos a las posibilidades que ofrece el sistema de "canchones" en la Pampa; escasos son, en cambio, los esfuerzos dirigidos a estudiar en forma concreta y sistemática las posibilidades de reutilización de suelos, antiguamente cultivados y su consiguiente repoblamiento.
