| dc.description | This paper deals with the topic of housing deficit and it concentrates on one of its aspects -overcrowding- The topic is here linked with the changes undergone by the housing policies, the economic growth and the rising of new forms of poverty. Special mention is made of the Provincia of Mendoza due to the characteristics there presents regards the magnitude and evolution of this phenomenon. It is here thus intended to call the attention to a topic most often neglected in political decisions regarding housing. | en-US |

Se vincula este tema con las transformaciones de las políticas habitacionales y el crecimiento y la aparición de nuevas formas de pobreza. Se hace especial referencia al caso de la provincia de Mendoza por las particulares características que en ella ofrecen la magnitud y evolución de este fenómeno. Se pretende de este modo llamar la atención sobre un tema frecuentemente relegado en las decisiones políticas en materia habitacional. | es-ES |
