dc.description	Taking into account the present situation of the world population and the new models of global economy, a proposition is made for the education of architects at the Universidad de Chile. It is a proposition to complement the syllabus for the career including the topic of the social construction of the residential habitat. This includes a coherent insertion within the existing syllabus so it does not alter the institutional formation of the architect, offering the student a flexible optional path to go deeper into the subject and give him the chance to choose a major or expertise if he/she wishes.	en-US
dc.description	Considerando la situación actual de la población en Chile y el impacto de los nuevos modelos de la economía globalizada, se concibe para la formación del Arquitecto en la Universidad de Chile una propuesta de implementación a la malla curricular de la carrera, consistente en ampliar la docencia teórica y del diseño para capacitar en mejor forma los aportes del futuro arquitecto en la construcción social del hábitat residencial. La propuesta considera una inserción coherente con el sistema educacional en práctica; y en consecuencia, no altera el proceso de formación instituido del Arquitecto, ofreciendo al estudiante una trayectoria opcional flexible para compenetrarse en el tema y poder elegir, de esta manera, un destino dirigido a la especialidad o experticia, si el estudiante lo deseara.	es-ES
