dc.description	The article approaches an actual Latin-American cinema tendency that has put in the center of the debate the discussion about the way Latin-American reality is been represented and, a supposed return to the realistic ways of representation. One of the most featured components, and the core of the debate, is the relation between documentary recording and staging. We propose that this antagonism is articulated in a large number of these films, as a borderline situation that allows a game of ruptures and dialogues that builds a new contact with what’s “real”, allowing us to read it as another way of relating with the social aspects. dc.description	El artículo aborda una tendencia en el cine latinoamericano actual, que ha puesto en el centro del debate la discusión acerca de la representación de la realidad latinoamericana y un supuesto regreso a los modos de representación realistas. Uno de los componentes más destacados, y que es el núcleo del debate, es la relación entre registro documental y puesta en escena. Proponemos que esta oposición se articula en un buen número de estos filmes como situación fronteriza que permite un juego de rupturas y diálogos que construye un nuevo contacto con lo real, posible de leer como otra forma de relación con lo social. Ello, mediante una serie de estrategias que privilegian una ubicación en las fronteras de los géneros, rompiendo con convenciones naturalizadas.	es-ES
