dc.descriptionGalavant (2015-2016) is a musical comedy television show, created by Dan Fogelman and broadcasted on ABC as a midseason replacement of Once Upon a Time (2011-). The self-references to the same show, the allusions and quotes to other ones, the crisis of the models, the anachronisms and reversions of traditional topics are the narrative ways that build this fiction and allow us to think of it as post-classical (Bordwell, Elsaesser, Carroll). Likewise, these strategies are settled by intermediate relationships that refers to a common cultural heritage, recognizable by the audience. We propose to analyze the symbolic universe that is developed in the story of this program, while we review the new forms of classicism that the narration can assume in the show, presenting stylistic strategies that we believe have provoked the enjoyment and commitment on the part of the audience.en-US
dc.descriptionGalavant (2015-2016) es una serie televisiva de comedia musical, creada por Dan Fogelman y emitida como midseason replacement, intermedio invernal en la mitad de temporada de la serie Once Upon a Time (2011-), por la cadena ABC. Las autorreferencias a la misma serie, las alusiones y citas a otras obras, la crisis de los modelos, los anacronismos y reversiones de tópicos tradicionales son las marcas narrativas que construyen esta ficción y permiten pensarla como una obra audiovisual con rasgos post-clásicos (Bordwell, Elsaesser, Carroll). Asimismo, estas estrategias plantean relaciones intermediales que apelan a un patrimonio cultural común, reconocible por la audiencia. Nos proponemos indagar el universo simbólico que se desarrolla en el relato de esta ficción televisiva, al tiempo que revisamos las nuevas formas de clasicismo que puede asumir la narración en esta serie, presentando estrategias estilísticas que creemos han provocado el disfrute y compromiso por parte de su público.es-ES
