dc.description | Despite being a constant phenomenon in human history, today the world is faced with an unprecedented migration crisis, which triggers global humanitarian issues such as misery, vulnerability, exploitation; unmoved solutions within each traditional nation-state. Statistics show the widespread violation of internationally recognized human rights and the perpetuation of a cycle of exploitation of workers, especially those most vulnerable: immigrants and refugees, who may even be subjected to contemporary slave labor. Immigrants suffer discrimination, violence and segregation, as well as work situations that are incompatible with human dignity. From the hypothetical-deductive method, this work will demonstrate how the migratory crisis perpetuates the exploitation and maintenance of the capitalist system as hegemonic, making new ways of precarious work, including through contemporary slavery. | en-US |
| es-ES |
