This article analyzes three novels of the Generation of the year 1938 and proposes the existence of a chronotope of exclusion that characterizes the representation of the city. This chronotope places stress upon and finally destroys the social integration attempted by the nationalist discourse.Se propone aquí la existencia, en tres novelas de la generación del 38, de un cronotopo deexclusión que caracteriza la representación de la ciudad. Dicho cronotopo tensiona y fracciona el propósito de integración social del discurso nacionalista.
