In 2009, Argentine directors Mariano Cohn and Gastón Duprat shot one of their most representative films, El hombre de al lado, at the famous Curutchet House in La Plata. An amusing comedy —sprinkled with dramatic overtones— in which the essence of two opposing realities are confronted: on the one hand, that of Victor, a used car salesman who opens a hole in the Curutchet´s party wall to get light into his house; and on the other hand, that of Leonardo, a fine and prestigious designer who, together with his wife and daughter, lived in Le Corbusier´s house at the time. Thus, using this project, the text connects some of the echoes of Le Corbusier´s architecture —such as the piloti, the Modulor, the light, the colour or the tactile, always present in the master´s work— with certain shots in the film. All this, with the sole purpose of revealing some of its key aspects and thus relate them to the usual behaviour of Le Corbusier at the forefront of his projects.En el año 2009, los directores argentinos Mariano Cohn y Gastón Duprat filmaron, en la célebre casa Curutchet de La Plata, una de sus películas más representativas, El hombre de al lado. Una divertida comedia —salpicada de tintes dramáticos— en la que se enfrenta lo esencial de dos realidades opuestas: por un lado, la de Víctor, un vendedor de coches usados que abre un hueco en la medianera de la Curutchet para conseguir luz en su vivienda; y por otro, la de Leonardo, un fino y prestigioso diseñador que, junto con su mujer e hija, habitaba la casa de Le Corbusier. Así, sirviéndonos de este proyecto, el escrito pone en relación algunas de las resonancias de la arquitectura de Le Corbusier —como el piloti, el Modulor, la luz, el color o lo táctil, siempre presentes en la obra del maestro—, con ciertos planos de la película. Todo ello, con el único fin de desvelar algunas de sus claves y ponerlas así en relación con el comportamiento habitual de Le Corbusier al frente de sus proyectos.
